Greetings trail work volunteers -

IMPORTANT UPDATES:

We have a wait list. That's a wonderful thing. If you're unable to attend, let us know.

PLEASE BRING your favorite dust mask if you have a favorite style. We have throw away masks available but if you happen to have a personal one you prefer, feel free to bring it. We have multiple tasks on hand for tomorrow including spreading straw and grass kicking up a lot of dust. If you're able to work in poison oak, let us know we have a need for a couple people able to work in that environment.

We expect it to be hot tomorrow so we'll finish as early as possible to avoid the heat.  We'll be stopping between 11:00-11:30 to clean up and head back for lunch.  (Lombardi's deli sandwiches, snacks and beverages)

MEET: Meet us at 9am at the (nearly complete) parking lot on Windsor Dr. LOOK FOR THE WHITE TOOL TRAILER.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Thank you for your support.

Join the Trails Alliance and Sonoma County Regional Parks to help finish a new connector to the West Wind Trail at Helen Putnam Regional Park in Petaluma on Saturday, October 2, from 9am to about 1pm.

Meet us at 9am at the (nearly complete) parking lot on Windsor Dr., just past the roundabout. We will provide tools and Clif bars with lunch, Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages afterwards.

Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen.

No experience necessary - we have tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
