Greetings trail work volunteers –
The Redwood Trails Alliance has been provided an opportunity to help Sonoma County Regional Parks get the new Wright Hill Ranch Park and Open Space Preserve cleaned up in preparation for interim public access.
We are hoping to recruit about a dozen volunteers for a cleanup day on December 11, 2021 from 9am to about 1pm to cut back overgrown vegetation and pick up debris around the Wright Hill ranch house grounds.
We will be getting access to the work site using a private driveway on Hwy 1. High clearance 4wd vehicles are required. There’s a parking area on Hwy 1 where we can consolidate into fewer vehicles. The driveway gate will be open for 20 minutes from 8:50am to 9:10am. The gate will be locked after we go in.
If you want to participate, RSVP HERE and we will confirm your attendance and provide the specific meeting location details.
We will provide tools and Clif bars with lunch, Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages afterwards.
Bring leather gloves (thorny vegetation abounds), a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
