Greetings trail work volunteers - The next RTA volunteer trail work opportunity will be on Saturday, April 23rd at Taylor Mt. Regional Park and Open Space Preserve from 9am to about 1pm. We will continue building a multi-use connector trail from Linwood Ave. to Cooper Ridge in Taylor Mt. RP & OSP. To get to the work site we will be entering the park on a narrow, old dirt driveway, currently closed to the public, so volunteers will be limited, and high clearance vehicles will be necessary. Detailed directions will be provided to confirmed registrants.
We will provide tools and Clif bars with lunch! and Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages afterwards. Poison oak is present so wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, and bring a hat for the sun, gloves, and sturdy shoes. And water that you can take with you while working. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at ken@trailsalliance.org.
Join us at the beginning of a community-built trail!
