Help us open more trails at Hood Mt. Regional Park
Greetings trail work volunteers -
Our next volunteer trail work opportunity will be on Saturday, May 14 at Hood Mt. Regional Park and Open Space Preserve from 9am to about 1pm. We will be cutting grass, removing poison oak and other vegetation, and repairing the trail surface of Lower Johnson Ridge Trail so SCRP can open the trail to the public.
To confirm your attendance, Register using the link above and meet us at the Hood Mt. RP/Pythian Road parking area at 9am. We will have parking passes for those that don't already have a County Park pass.
We will have tools and Clif bars and after trail work, we'll provide lunch! with Guayaki, Lagunitas and other beverages.
Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, and bring a hat for the sun, gloves, and sturdy shoes for hiking distances. And water that you can take with you while working.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Ken at ken@trailsalliance.org
