Greetings trail work volunteers –
Redwood Trails Alliance has an opportunity to help St. Helena's High School Mountain Bike Team, the Thunderbirds, prepare Moore Creek Park in St. Helena for new trail construction!
Space is limited so sign up soon. We’ll meet on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 8:30 am to about 1pm. (times may vary depending on volunteer count) We will provide tools and Clif bars with lunch and beverages afterwards.
We will be installing silt fencing in preparation for new trail construction. The silt fencing step in new trail construction process is critical for the health of the environment and an integral part of responsible trail building. Our trail team is happy for the assist.
Details for the meeting location will be provided with your confirmed registration.
Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen. Poison oak is present so long sleeve shirts are recommended.
Don’t forget to remind your coach to log your hours in the pit zone to get Teen Trail Corp credits for your team.
