Greetings trail work volunteers –
Redwood Trails Alliance is helping Sonoma County Regional Parks
prepare the new Monte Rio Redwoods Park and Open Space Preserve* for
interim public access.
We need about fifteen volunteers for a trail work day on Saturday,
February 18, 2023 from 9am to about 3pm. We will provide tools with
lunch and beverages afterwards.
We will be working with one of our great community partners, Gianni
Cycling, on Sonoma County Regional Park's newly acquired Monte Rio
property to make improvements to get ready for interim public access.
Details for the meeting location will be provided with your confirmed
registration.
Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working,
and wear long pants, boots, or sturdy shoes. Poison oak is present so
long sleeve shirts are recommended.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Ken at
ken@trailsalliance.org.
Thank you,
Redwood Trails Alliance
