Greetings trail work volunteers - Our next volunteer trail work opportunity will be celebrating National Trails Day on Saturday, June 3 at Taylor Mt. Regional Park and Open Space Preserve from 9am to about 1pm. We will be adding gravel to the new Sky Lupine Trail to make it smoother and improve water management (less mud in the winter). Meet us at the Taylor Mt. Kawana Terrace public parking area (near the big water tanks) at 9am. We will have parking passes for those that don't already have a County Park pass. The park entrance is at 2080 Kawana Terrace, Santa Rosa, CA 95404. We will have tools and snacks for the work day and after trail work we'll provide lunch with a variety of beverages and some National Trails Day festivities. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, and bring a hat for the sun, gloves, and sturdy shoes for hiking distances. And water that you can take with you while hiking and working. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Ken at ken@trailsalliance.org
