Greetings RTA trail volunteers - The next RTA trail work opportunity will be on Wednesday, August 23rd. We will work from 9am to about 3pm at Helen Putnam Regional Park, 411 Chileno Valley Rd., Petaluma. We will be installing stone steps and a gravel surface at the new terraces on Putnam Pond. We will have parking passes for those that don't already have a Regional Park pass. We will have tools and snacks and will take a lunch break and continue until about 3pm, with refreshing beverages after work. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, and bring a hat for the sun, gloves, and sturdy shoes or boots - we will be working with gravel, heavy stones and on steep slopes.
