Greetings RTA trail volunteers - The next RTA trail work opportunity will be on Tuesday, August 29th. We will work from 9am to about noon at Helen Putnam Regional Park, 411 Chileno Valley Rd., Petaluma. We will be installing stone steps at the new fishing terrace on Putnam Pond. We will have parking passes for those that don't already have a Regional Park pass. We will have tools and snacks and after trail work we'll provide lunch and beverages. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, and bring a hat for the sun, gloves, and sturdy shoes or boots - we will be working with heavy stones and on steep slopes. And water that you can take with you while working.
