Greetings RTA Trail Volunteers - The next RTA trail work opportunity will be on Saturday, January 6th, 2024. We will work from 9am to about 1pm at Trione-Annadel State Park on a realignment of the beginning of Lawndale Trail.
Redwood Trails Alliance (RTA), in partnership with Friends of Trione-Annadel (FOTA), and in coordination with the CA State Parks Bay District (CSP) staff, is pleased to announce we will hold our first 2024 volunteer work day in Trione-Annadel State Park.
We will meet at the Lawndale parking lot and clear the brush and other vegetation along a new alignment of the first 500' of the trail. Due to limited parking and work site constraints, attendance is limited to 24 volunteers.
We will have tools and snacks and after trail work, we'll provide lunch and beverages. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants (poison oak is prevalent), and bring a hat for the sun (or jacket for rain), work gloves, and sturdy shoes or boots - we will be working off trail. And water that you can take with you while working.
RSVP REQUIRED for attendance. In order to reduce waste and avoid spending limited funds, please let us know if you need to cancel after registering so that we order the correct amount of food.
