Greetings RTA Trail Volunteers - We're back to the trails at Trione-Annadel on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024.
We will work from 9 am to 2 pm on Marsh Trail and Ridge Trail (note: this is a change from our original plan to work on Ridge and Marsh). We will be splitting into two groups and removing vegetation from the trail corridor. Volunteers will park at the Lawndale parking lot near Kenwood. Please arrive 15 minutes early for snacks and a safety talk.
1/2 the team will shuttle from the Lawndale lot to the Schultz trailhead, about a 10 minute drive. We will work until 1:00 pm, break for lunch, and work a bit more before heading back to the parking lot.
We will have tools and protective gear. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants (poison oak is prevalent), and bring a hat for the sun (or jacket for rain), work gloves, sturdy shoes or boots and water that you can take with you while working.
RSVP REQUIRED for attendance. In order to reduce waste and avoid spending limited funds, please let us know if you need to cancel after registering so that we order the correct amount of food.
Trail work is sponsored by the generosity of Friends of Trione-Annadel! Huge Thank you to FOTA for their support of the park.
