Greetings RTA Trail Volunteers - The next trail work opportunity will be on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024. We will work from 9 am to 1 pm on Lawndale Trail and Shultz Trail. We will be removing vegetation from the trail corridor, something we've been getting lot's of requests for. Volunteers will park at the Lawndale parking lot near Kenwood. Please arrive 15 minutes early for snacks and a safety talk.
We will have tools and protective gear, and after trail work, we'll provide lunch and beverages. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants (poison oak is prevalent), and bring a hat for the sun (or jacket for rain), work gloves, sturdy shoes or boots and water that you can take with you while working.
RSVP REQUIRED for attendance. In order to reduce waste and avoid spending limited funds, please let us know if you need to cancel after registering so that we order the correct amount of food.
