Greetings RTA trail volunteers - Redwood Trails Alliance has another trail work opportunity coming up on Wednesday, July 31st. We will work from 9am to about 1pm at Helen Putnam Regional Park, meeting at 411 Chileno Valley Rd., Petaluma. We will be installing a steel puncheon (footbridge) at the inlet to Cattail Pond to improve Cattail Trail, making it all-weather accessible/passable in the winter. We will have parking passes for those that don't already have a Regional Park pass. We will have tools and snacks and after trail work we'll provide lunch from Lombardi's and beverages. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, and bring a hat for the sun, gloves, and wear sturdy shoes or boots. And water that you can take with you while working.
