Greetings RTA Trail Volunteers - We're back to the trails at Trione-Annadel this Saturday, February 22!
We will work from 9 am to 1 pm on Ridge Trail, finishing the work started last summer.
We will meet at the Lawndale parking lot and shuttle up to Schultz Trail. We will carry tools up the trail to Pig Flat and upper Ridge Trail and cut back vegetation from the trail corridor in places we missed last summer. Additionally, a small crew will clear drainages along Schultz Trail.
LET KEN KNOW IF TO HAVE A SPACIOUS VEHICLE AND CAN SHUTTLE PEOPLE UP THE ROAD.
We will have tools and protective gear. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants (poison oak is prevalent), and bring a hat for the sun (or jacket for rain), work gloves, sturdy shoes or boots and water that you can take with you while working. Lunch is provided.
Trail work is sponsored by the generosity of Friends of Trione-Annadel! Huge Thank you to FOTA for their support of the park.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Ken at ken@trailsalliance.org
