Redwood Trails Alliance, in partnership with Cal Fire and Friends of Boggs Mountain, will be in the Forest on Saturday, May 17th to work on the in-slope turns on Mac's Trail (aka Scout).
This effort includes improving sight lines and ensuring the inside line is safe to navigate and clear of debris. We will make modest enhancements to the turns that will preserve their character and function.
We will provide all needed tools. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, and bring a hat for the sun, work gloves, sturdy shoes or boots, and water that you can take with you while working. Lunch will be provided.
We have permission to camp at Boggs on Friday evening! RTA's Field Director Tony Cale and Executive Director Tom Boss will be there to greet you. You can also get in a ride or hike on Friday afternoon taking advantage of the long evenings.
