Join Redwood Trails Alliance for a volunteer trail work day at Hood Mountain Regional Park and Open Space Preserve.
Meeting location: 3000 Los Alamos Rd, Santa Rosa Public parking lot at the end of Los Alamos Rd. From there, we’ll hike about ½ mile to the work site.
What we’ll be doing
Installing a new gate into Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
Completing finish work on the new connector trail
What we provide

Parking passes for those who don’t already have a Regional Parks pass
Snacks during the day
Lunch and beverages after trail work
What to bring
Long-sleeve shirt and long pants (poison oak is present)
Hat for the sun
Work gloves
Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
Water in a bottle or pack you can carry while working
RSVP required Registration is required to attend. To help us reduce waste and be mindful of our limited funds, please let us know if you need to cancel after registering so we can plan food accordingly.
