Join Redwood Trails Alliance for a volunteer trail work day at Hood Mountain Regional Park and Open Space Preserve.

Meeting location:
3000 Los Alamos Rd, Santa Rosa
Public parking lot at the end of Los Alamos Rd.

What we’ll be doing

• Installing new trail signs on the Squirrel Scamper Trail and to Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
• Finish gravel work on the new connector trail
• What we provide
• Tools
• Parking passes for those who don’t already have a Regional Parks pass
• Snacks during the day
• Lunch and beverages after trail work

What to bring

• Long-sleeve shirt and long pants (poison oak is present)
• Hat for the sun
• Work gloves
• Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
• Water in a bottle or pack you can carry while working
