What’s happening

Join us for a special tour of the Monte Rio Redwoods Expansion. Choose your group—guided bike ride or guided hike—and explore new-to-you corners of this forested gem. We’ll begin with a quick overview of the expansion area at 8:30 AM, then head out for about three hours of redwood shade, ridge-line views, and flowing trails.

Both groups feature a sustained initial climb and are rated moderate to strenuous. You’ll be out with the folks who built, maintain, and continue to enhance these trails—expect great stories, route insights, and stewardship tips along the way.

What to bring

• Lunch, snacks, and plenty of water (non-supported outing)

• Bike & helmet (for riders) / sturdy hiking shoes (for hikers)

• Layers, sun protection, and a small repair/first-aid kit

• Pack it in, pack it out—let’s keep this place pristine
