RTMP Next Steps: Building Capacity to Improve the Park

The public comment period on the Draft Trione-Annadel State Park Road and Trail Management Plan (RTMP) closed Friday, thank you for commenting!

While we wait for the final plan and approval, our focus shifts to building the people power and resources needed to implement the improvements.

Join Redwood Trails Alliance (RTA) and Friends of Trione-Annadel (FOTA) along with Breakaway Bikes and Heart & Sole Sports for a meeting to discuss how we turn momentum into action and be proactive.

    What we’ll focus on:

    • Making the 2026 workday season the biggest yet and using it to train crew leaders

    • Establishing a Trione-Annadel-specific trail crew who can act as a rapid-response “strike force” to address emergency trail issues (like downed trees and storm impacts)

    • Trailhead Outposts to activate new volunteers, educate trail users, and grow community support

    • Beverages and snacks will be avilable

This meeting is about moving from advocacy to implementation — and building the long-term structure to support more trails, better trails at Trione-Annadel.

    Event Details

    When: Thursday, March 5, 2026
    Time: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
    Where: Breakaway Bikes
    Address: 4215 Montgomery Dr

    Why attend?

The RTMP is a blueprint — but plans only become reality with people, organization, and resources behind them. If you care about the future of Trione-Annadel and want to help shape what comes next, this is the meeting for you.

Meet: PUC Race Village / Start Line (Detailed check-in instructions provided upon RSVP)

We provide: All aid station supplies, snacks, and lunch afterward.

You bring: Layers (Angwin can be chilly/foggy in the morning!), comfortable shoes for standing, a water bottle for yourself, and your loudest cheering voice.
