  RTA is heading to Marin to assist Friends of Olompali, Marin County Bicycle Coalition and Access4Bikes with a volunteer day to brush the Burdell Trail at Olompali State Historic Park in North Novato!

  We'll focus on grass trimming along much of the trail, and with enough volunteers, we'll do some slough and berm work on the trail tread as well.

  WHEN: Sunday, June 22 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

  We will have tools and protective gear. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants (poison oak is prevalent), and bring a hat for the sun, work gloves, sturdy shoes or boots and water that you can have with you while working.

  Lunch is provided. Please let us know if you need to cancel after registering so that we purchase the correct amount of food.

  Volunteers needed to install a gate at the end of Linwood Avenue and prep the access trail into the new Taylor Mountain trails!

  EVENT DETAILS:

  We will meet at 9:00 am at the end of Linwood Avenue. There is space to park 5-6 cars.   Greetings Trail Volunteers - Join RTA to work on Channel Trail in
  Trione-Annadel SP Thursday, June (12, 19, 26)
  
  We will work from 9 am to 1 pm on Channel Trail, installing stone armor
  to reduce erosion to the trail. We'll meet at the Visitor Center, 6201 Channel Dr.

• Monte Rio Redwoods Women's Trail Work Day

  Women in the Redwoods is the theme of this traditional work day at Monte Rio Redwoods Regional Park and Open Space in West Sonoma County.

  While the trails we've built are holding up well and enjoyed by many, we've noticed some drainage issues at The Junction, the crossroads of the Monte Rio Redwoods Trail and River Mountain Trail (service road).

  We will be clearing out drainages and reestablishing rolling dips, so be ready to dig!. Tools and refreshments will be provided. Wear long sleeve shirt and pants, work gloves if you have them, sturdy shoes or boots, and water that you can take with you while working. Lunch will be provided at the end of the day.

  WHAT: Monte Rio Redwoods Women's Work Day

  Sonoma County’s largest trail construction project in over a decade is complete at Taylor Mountain Regional Park and Open Space Preserve in Santa Rosa. Hikers, cyclists and equestrians have access to an additional 450 acres and 8 miles of new multi-use trails, doubling the park’s existing trail network. But the new trails got hammered this winter, so we're going to give them some love!
  
  We will meet at 9:00 am at the end of Kawana Terrace Road (signed as private) for repair work on the Linwood Trail. We provide snacks and tools and lunch after the work.
