Join RTA at Moore Creek Park on Saturday, February 15th as we install trail signs and do tread maintenance at this amazing Napa County Open Space District park just east of St. Helena.
We'll meet at the parking lot off Chiles Pope Valley Road, shuttle up the canyon a few miles to the first creek crossing and split into two crews.
One will head north to install signs at the newly built Washing Machine Trail and at the start of Dan's Wild Ride. The second crew will head up Valentine Vista Trail to install a sign at the intersection of Redux Trail, and do light tread work on Redux Trail.
We will have tools and snacks and after trail work, we'll provide lunch and beverages. Wear a long sleeve shirt and pants (poison oak is prevalent), and bring a hat for the sun, work gloves, and sturdy shoes or boots. And water that you can take with you while working.
RSVP REQUIRED for attendance. In order to reduce waste and avoid spending limited funds, please let us know if you need to cancel after registering so that we purchase the correct amount of food.
